Mullady Girls in London

Tee Tee and Riley ( which in three year old voice sounds more like "Raleigh"), Tee Tee and Riley, Tee Tee and Riley!!! This is what I heard for the entire two weeks prior to the visit to London from my big sis Erin ( who my girls refer to as Tee Tee, long story), and my favorite pre-teen niece in the world Riley.  We waited what felt to be so long, were so excited for their visit and enjoyed ourselves so much that it has taken me two weeks to wipe away the tears and admit that their visit is now over and it will be another 4 months before we get to be with them again.

Trying to come up with a creative blog post to capture every minute of their visit is impossible. Yes we/they did all of the typical London hot spots ( but nobody who reads this wants to see yet another picture from the London Eye I am sure), yes they went up to Manchester to catch a football game (probably their favorite tourist part of the trip), and yes us girls "oooh"'d and "ahhh"'d at Harolds for an entire morning ( mostly at the price tags, as my sister and I are way too cheap to actually buy anything!). The best part about their trip was that (due to Lane's crazy work schedule these days) we had a lot of time to just hang around, doing girly things that sisters and cousins should do together and catching up........not to mention the fact that when you have a super cool almost 11 year old cousin who loves to play with your hair and an Aunt who spoils you rotten Mom gets to relax a little more throughout the day.

Are they here yet? Are they here yet? Are they here yet?

Avery had told her teachers all week that Riley was going to come to her school to walk her home

Relaxin. Since Riley had to put up with multiple Disney movies while she was here, she got to have the prime couch spot

We post-birthday celebrated Avery and pre-birthday celebrated Riley. Now I won't be so heart broken by the fact that I will miss Riley's 11th birthday on March 10th.

Tee Tee was patient enough to allow Avery to help her with makeup every morning. (And I was lucky enough that her makeup was left here by mistake upon her departure. Being the little sister, I still get a thrill out of using her stuff.... even if these days we both use anti-aging, wrinkle concealing age hiding face paint from drug stores.)

Three out of four of my favorite girls in the world

It was a perfect six day visit right in the middle of our long stretch away from home when we go back next summer to see the entire Mullady family. Two weeks later we already miss them again like crazy but somehow the memories of Riley doing cartwheels and gymnastic jumps all over our flat and the streets of London makes us feel like she is not so far away.

Wishing we could love on Dillon and Molly too,

Time Flies - Three Months into our Adventure

We've officially been here in London for three months.  Life here is starting to feel normal.. We are learning to love city life, planning our upcoming travels around Europe, and meeting new people. We miss our car, our large washer/dryer and most of all our dog Brody.

Here are some unshared pictures of stuff we've been up to these last few months!
